 All participants in AAU Australia events—players, coaches, team managers, and officials—must hold a current AAU membership to take part. 

• Junior/Athlete Membership: For participants aged 17 and under.
   
• Adult Membership: Required for age 18+, whether you're a player, coach.

• Membership functions as a digital ID (via the GAMEDAY platform) and/or a physical AAU ID card—required for entry into all AAU Australia events. Without it, participation will be denied.
   
• It also covers insurance, vital for protection during competitions and training.

 AAU Australia memberships must be renewed annually, and staying current is mandatory for access to events 

• Ensures event integrity: By confirming membership prior to events, AAU maintains safety, organization, and fair play.
   
• Empowers participants: Access to national-level events, clinics, tournaments, and the opportunity to be noticed by U.S. college scouts.
   
• Supports player development: Gives athletes exposure to elite-level competition and pathways to scholarships.
